The LG 55LD650 boasts several new core features, this model is said to provide one of the best viewing experience for its audience. This is due to its high contrast picture quality. The LG 55LD650 is available in two standard sizes, the 55 inch and the 47 inch models.
The LG 55LD650 has a panel thickness of 3.8 inches, not by any means the thinnest of LCD s but is a lot thinner that the CRTs we are used to. This model comes with a thick black border that beautifully surrounds its 55 inch screen, with two 10 Watt speakers hidden at both sides. The LD650 has a swivel base with thickness of 13 inches. The unit is said to be most energy efficient.

The LG 55Ld650 comes with an aspect ratio of 16:9, and a response time of 2ms. This model comes with full 1080P (1920x1080) Resolution. It has an amazing contrast ratio of 200000:1 and a Refresh Rate of 240Hz. The contrast ratio is the difference between measurement of the darkest shades of black and the whitest whites, the bigger the difference between the two, the more of a 3D look the image will have.
The LG 55LD650 also has horizontal and vertical viewing angle of 178 degrees. The most note-worthy feature that sets the LG 55LD650 apart from its competitors is called an XD Engine. This XD Engine is a processing system for HDTVs, it consists of 6 different processors and filters that are all working together to dynamically alter the picture signal as it hits the screen. This technology is totally hands free. The XD Engine Examines the incoming signal and adjusts it accordingly to deliver that razor sharp picture.

ALL TVs are Vesa mounting....you just have to make sure your mount is RATED for the weight /size of the TV set.....
You certainly can't use a mount for a 20 inch/30 lb TV set....
