Viore maybe a small player compare to big brands such as Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, etc, but they are rapidly getting a lot of fans here. They offer great price on their LCD HDTVs, it's really tempting to get one. The Viore LCD19VH65 19-Inch LCD HDTV with Built-in DVD Player is no difference either. The LCD19VH65 comes with a built-in DVD player at the back making this product is a smart choice, since there's no need to buy a separate player for your HDTV. Its design is rather sleek as it features a glossy piano black bezel finish which is quite common with most LCD TV today.
The television isn't a full HD and instead, it can only support up to 720p. However, this is actually not a disadvantage as well. Unless it is a big sized LCD TV, the difference between a 720p connection and a 1080p connection on a 19-inch LCD TV is very minor.
With its small size, the Viore LCD19VH65 isn't recommended to be placed in big rooms such as a living room. However, it can act as a computer monitor as it not only features a HDMI port but a VGA input as well. It can also be placed in bedrooms although the user will have to get close to the television to actually be able to watch the television clearly. Those that want to feel lavish may also place the television in the bathroom. It can be placed in a glass enclosed case to prevent water from reaching the set.
This hdtv consumes very small electricity, it consumes 65 Watts at maximum, which making it a good choice when you don't want to get hidden cost by buying this tv. The Viore LCD19VH65 19-Inch LCD HDTV with Built-in DVD Player is also a great choice for a computer monitor as well as in a small room. However, those that would want to get it for a bigger room should definitely opt for at least a 32-Inch LCD HDTV.

HELP! Which 1080p budget full HD HDTV is better the Vizio Gallevia 47" or the Syntax Olevia model# 242FHDTV?
I need a budget priced LCD HDTV for use in my office as a TV/Computer Monitor and the same TV will also be my christmas present to my Dad for his first HDTV. I have shopped and searched relentlessly to find a value priced 1080p TV that is good quality and I think I have it down to two options, but I need help from you (someone that knows HDTV, videophile, tech guru, electronics salesmam, technophile etc..)
Which TV is better?
Olevia 42 in. LCD Full HD (1080p) Television model # 242FHDTV for $899
or
Vizio 47 in. LCD Full HD (1080p) Gallevia HDTV model # GV47LF for $1449
Which TV is better? Do you have any review information or knowledge on the HD technology, picture quality etc?
Please steer me in the right direction because it is a toss up for me. I prefer the 47" size but i prefer the $899 price??

OK I'm back with some great news.
I'll start with a name brand. If you have a problem with this one. Theres a good chance you can have it fixed somewhere close to home.
This is a 46 inch LCD buy Samsung. It's 1080P and if you have a cable or sat Set Top Box you'll be able to use the your remote from the Set Top Box to control your TV. You will not find the codes for a Vizio or a Olevia. They just don't have them.

Ok lets look at something less costly.
How about this. A Sharp 42 Inch LCD for only $1014.99. Sharp is known for building the best LCD's. Not bad for the Price.
