HDMI splitter that goes to component AND HDMI?
Is there such a thing as a HDMI splitter that splits to both another HDMI signal and a component signal?
So basically a HDMI input that splits to (1) HDMI output and (1) component output. Or if that doesn't exist, would and 1x2 HDMI splitter connected to a HDMI to Component converter work?
Your best bet is an HDMI splitter with one output as the input to an HDMI> Component converter. See link for one option re the latter (although there are a number of others, including less expensive models that ignore the audio ... if you don't need it.)
You can't just split because HDMI is digital and component is analog.
