3D TV Reviews: Giving an Insightful View of the 3D Models
It is time to read 3D TV reviews, with all the leading manufacturers of HDTVs bringing out new models with 3D feature this year. These models have been specially designed to help you see the 3D effects of the pictures that are telecast in the TV. But for this, you need to wear special eyewear which is available with all the manufacturers. Some of them provide a pair with the 3D TV but most of them don't, and you have to invest in the eyewear yourself. In fact, you have to buy a pair for every member of your house. This can be a great disadvantage because of the extra investment that you have to make. It is also irritating for people who already have to wear spectacles for impaired vision.
High Refresh Rate Too
When you read 3D TV reviews, you will learn about the technologies being used by different companies in making these models. This feature is present in only the flagship models of the TV. Most of the manufacturers have included the 240 Hz refresh rate in these 3D TVs which can really make the action come alive. With the frames being replaced really fast, you can almost imagine the tiger lunging towards you in the movie. These TV reviews also suggest that the 3D TVs can take you to a new world of entertainment where you can't help becoming totally involved in what is happening in the scenes.
Conversion of Content
Although there aren't many channels now which can produce 3D content, efforts are on to provide increasing number of programs in 3D. Many 3D TVs are also integrated with the technology to convert 2D content to 3D. This comes of great use since most of the programs that you see today on the TV channels are in 2D. Reading 3D TV reviews makes you understand that the conversion of 2D to 3D is not that effective if you compare with true 3D content. But since people are able to view in 3D, they feel happy even with the compromised effects.
High Price
3D TV reviews indicate that the prices of the 3D TVs are sky high now. This is understandable as the manufacturers want to cash in on the novelty of the product. This reminds you of the time when the LCD models were introduced. The models were very pricey and only within the reach of the elite. LCD TV reviews tell you that only after the entry of the LED models, the LCD ones have become a lot more affordable. The same is the case with the 3D models. Since this is the first year of their entry into the world market, you can expect them to be really expensive.
Few New Models
Although most of the top manufacturers have forayed into the field of 3D TVs, yet they have been cautious enough to just introduce a few models. There are very few models in their lineup and all of them belong to the highest display category only. 3D TV reviews tell you that you won't get a 22-inch TV with 3D feature this year. Most probably, the companies are waiting to see the response of the people so that they can launch more 3D TVs next year.

samsung and sony have been top dog, tho i dislike crappy sony so much.
there are vizio, which is a newcomer but good value, and

when buying a tv man.
Contrast ratio anything over 2500:1 darket black to the whitest white, more range of greys
response time there is 6ms 5ms 4ms, ms means milliseconds, so lower you go faster response.
you dont need 1080p on that size tv, so dont worry about.
color bit size, 8bit 10bit 12 bit, more bits more range of color
and wether it swivels or not is a biggie sometimes..
