Overall, i am very happy with this purchase. I researched extensively and at last settled on this one (Samsung LN40C630 came in second place). I picked this up from a third-party seller that was fulfilled by Amazon and have had it for somewhat over 2 weeks. This was throughout Black Friday mind you, and that i could not notice any higher deal for a reputation whole 42" a hundred and twenty Hz anywhere extremely. the image quality is crisp and vibrant, there's no lag on the screen, the audio is best than expected, the interface is pretty slick, and it's light-weight and aesthetically pleasing. Major upgrade from my previous 37" Olevia. The swiveling base is additionally key.
CEVA delivered the TV; they merely carried it to my lounge, however did not set it up. It wasn't that huge of a deal to me, though, as it's pretty easy to require it out of the box and found out the stand and screw the TV on it. Installation was quite simple to try and do on my very own.
On the negative aspect, i am going to say that the remote isn't therefore nice. I supposed it gets the task done and has all the required options, however it's huge and appears sort of a novelty toy in my opinion. The interface of the menu for the LG {is straightforward|is simple|is simple} and straightforward to use - it's quite easy to configure the TV to your liking. I actually have found that i prefer turning on TruMotion just for sports (have it on 5-user) whereas turning TruMotion off for everything else. Some might just like the "soap opera" result, however it will create it seem to be things were shot on a handheld camera and does not appear terribly professional/movie-like. For sports, though, it's nice as a result of it makes it seem to be you are there.
In regards to the opposite settings, google "LG 47LH90 image settings" and a cnet forum provides the optimal ones they found for the same LG set. I found these to be fairly near what i assumed was best as too, however everyone has their own personal style.
The Netcast functionality is good, however not outstanding. i have never used it considerably and really use Netflix through the Tivo instead, however I've dabbled around somewhat bit watching Youtube videos and also the like. i would say there's still work to be done with the netcast amenities, however it's a number of nice basic functions. whereas that's supposedly the selling purpose for this TV, it wasn't a main think about my call. My main deciding factors were image quality, price, durability, aesthetics, and overall style, and i would say it excels in those areas. i assumed for an additional or no matter, it had been price having internet-capabilities for the long run.

Congratulations on receiving your compensation. It's obvious you want your PS3. Get your PS3 bundled if possible, you save money in the long run. Second, your HDTV. You want something nice to play it on. I would also recommend instead of just the HDTV, get an LCD HDTV. If you shop around and can buy one still in the store as a display, you'll likely get a discount.....same thing with the HDTV you want though too. Home theater system, what a gaming experience that would be. The roaring thunder of the crowd. Lastly, use EBAY or Craigslist to help save you on cost. Don't pay more than what you would in the store, but if you can save yourself the money, isn't that the goal overall. Get as much quality as you can for as little as you can?
