A side panel offers another HDMI port, two USB ports and one AV input with composite-video.

Performance-wise the LCD HDTV delivers accurate color in bright scenes with no over-scan for 1080i or 1080p movies and video. Black level depth was good with very smooth performance due to the adjustable de-judder processing.

The LCD HDTV does very well with standard definition sources, resolving every line effectively while PC performance was equally impressive at 1920×1080 with no over-scan or edge enhancement. All in all, the Samsung LN55B650 is a very good 55 inch LCD HDTV for the mid-range user with impressive performance that should give some of the more expensive models a run for their money.
