First, the LG BD530 Network TV 1080 is Blu-ray Disc impressive. The first CD was a good collector's item Avatar, and I was impressed. Even my wife, I can not really update that was set in 1080 to 720 in surprise. We have seen many movies then, and they are all beautiful. They may be concerned about TV for only 60 Hz refresh rate, and can be "experts" say that the 120Hz or 240Hz, but believe me, do not do this unless it was not really watch TV the refresh rate. Thoughts of a sudden the picture quality, you are there, the effect strange (the effect of the soap opera), and can do what you want to see all the time. I have not noticed any problems with 60Hz refresh rate, while with sports events and movies many fast movements and explosions. ATT U-verse TV images is good, but obviously not as high as 1080p signal from Blu-ray player (both with HDMI, but the signal U-verse TV 720p). Models tried-LC55 LCD and plasma PC55. 16:9 1.85 ratio DVDs affected as well as 16:9 TV pictures.People still slightly taller and thinner and not in correct proportion. Looks very odd, kind of almost a 15 or 15 1/2 : 9 ratio. No problems of this sort on my previous Sony 16:9 TV but here...
I have an LG 42" but I don't have that trouble.
