With the addition of the Neo-PDP technology (using self-illuminating pixels for better colour precision, clarity and brilliance), this Panasonic Viera TXP42S20B review has revealed increased options for multimedia viewing. With improved image display, action scenes are rendered more smoothly due to the Neo-PDP technology. Which TV is a better buy? Vizio or RCA?
I'm looking to purchase a tv very soon and I'm looking for something bigger than a 32 in. and no more than $400. I recently found 2 televisions that fit that
The first is the VIZIO 37" Class 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV from Target

I'm not sure which one to go with because the RCA is only 720p but it is bigger. The Vizio is 1080 but I've heard mixed reviews about Vizio. Just looking for some insight from some one who knows what they're talking about

RCA is a great product arguably better than Vizio as a product. The RCA is only 720p which is all 99.9% of the programs are produced in. Networks film in 720p...as are most movies. So unless you are renting specified 1080p movies or using blue ray...enjoy the larger 42'' screen which is also Plasma as you are most likely getting more TV at a better value! 
With this comparision performance is essentially equal...and size does matter. The sales pitch is similar to a car salesman saying the performance on the Ferrari is better than the Porsche....99.9% will buy the Porsche because it is more for the money everyday.
