PT590AU Pyle Home Audio 5.1 Channel Receiver
HDMI Splitter: Enables Simultaneous Audio and Video Streaming
High definition video and audio can be replicated and relayed simultaneously to multiple HDMI outputs from a single source using a HDMI Splitter. A single cable connects the HDMI output device to the splitter and then to each HDTV display. Once powered on, the unit is ready to operate as it works on the principle of plug and play and does not require any additional software for operation. Since a single cable is used to transmit both audio and video, it avoids unnecessary clutter. Whereas some models are backward compatible with DVI-D, others work with HDMI or DVI-D, and HDCP-enabled HDTV's. Compatible with devices such as Set-top boxes, DVD players, D-VHS players and play stations, these splitters work with almost all operating systems.
A type of video splitter, these HDMI units allow from 2 to 8 devices to be connected, and for larger configurations, they can be daisy chained. Supporting HDTV resolutions up to 1080p and computer resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, these devices are compact HDCP compliant audio video units. LED lights on the unit indicate power status, enabling clean, simultaneous distribution of one high-definition signal to multiple HDMI displays.
Since it is equipped with the ability to amplify and boost the video signals, this device is also known as a HDMI distribution amplifier. The video signals are first split, then duplicated and distributed to multiple displays without converting digital signals to analog and then back to digital thereby keeping all signals in an uncompressed digital format. RoHS, CE and FCC certified, these devices ensure that their intellectual property is protected through HDCP. Developed with the intention of replacing DVI as DVI did not support audio, the newer models of these splitters guarantee more synchronized in/out ports, high compatibility and high reliability. This device has set a standard in video/audio transmission due to the uncompromised picture and sound quality it provides.
A device used in the field of audio and video connectors, the HDMI splitter is the perfect solution for digital signage applications, classroom and training facilities, remote monitoring and command centers.

Marantz SR8001 vs Denon 4308 Amplifier?
I want an amp with two HDMI output for TV and projector.
Denon's price is 2x of Marantz at least. Is it real much better?
Denon's amp has all new technology like HDMI 1.3a, does it really look much better? I've a SHARP G7 series. (I'm not sure the HDMI version). I've a Panasonic PT-AE1000E or Epson EMP-TW1000 (not yet decided). What should I choose? Should I wait for Denon's amp?
What real benefit for spending 2x more? I've only got 5.1 instead of 7.1 surround sound.
Denon is known for using amplifiers for each channel. Where as most manufacturers use only one shared amp or set of shared amps. This is why they tend to be more spendy for their recievers. If that is not an issue for you, IE: performance, then you can always spend your money wisely on a shared amp model that may do more for your money.
Marantz has been in the business for a while too. They have some great models as you have mentioned here. They usually get a fair price for good quality products.
I'd go with the Panasonic as they've been around longer and have a better reputation for their products. Epson was primarily a printer manufacturer, until recently.
You could wait for the newer Denon model, but it may cost more than you might be willing to spend.
I'd check out Yamaha's web sight for 7.1 models. Google: "Yamaha 7.1-channel digital home theater receiver" as their web sight has changed.
Of course it all depends upon the spec's you are looking for and how much you have or are willing to spend. $500.00 is an average "reasonable" price as you may know or what it sounds like you are seeking.
The reason I suggest the Yamaha line is that they also have a 9.1 channel flagship model. Although expensive, it Rocks!
But that is only if money is no object! ($4,495.00).
My suggestion is that you go to a stereo supplier and review your models in their sound room. Gather info on them to make an informed decision. Look at cost and performance as well as hook-ups for your needs, (HDMI, are you utilizing your computer in this set up? Also, if you want/need satellight radio, TV/Monitor hook-up types and finally, your budget).
PS: I have a 5.1 Denon hooked up to 11.1 speaker system and it Rocks great! Although I'd love a 7.1 system or better, my budget cannot do it right now.
