I have a Sony Bravia KDL- 46" 1080P 120hz. Mine has been a great tv. I have had it for just over a year and purchased for $1200. If you can get the 52" for a good price and you feel it is comparable, go for it. 120hz and 1080p is about the best you can do and Sony is a strong brand.
