How do you use an HDTV as a monitor for an iBook g4?
Hey, I have an ibook g4 and a Phillips 42" HDTV (the kind with ambilight) and i wanna use the tv as a monitor for the computer to play movies and others things. The iBook came with a converter which i can use to hook it up to other monitors but i don't know if this is helpful at all when it comes to the tv as it isn't meant to be used as a monitor. Are there some cables i can buy or something?

From what I can tell, the input you will want to use on your TV will be the HDMI. You should be able to use your converter that you have with a DVI to HDMI or VGA to HDMI cable. I'm not sure whether your converter has DVI or VGA.
