I am literally at the price of HDTV for about a year and have no time to update! Samsung has just launched a new series to life "C", and somehow they are much cheaper than existing models! Most websites that sell HDTV for 800 + on the lower Amazon is lower than the rest of the market. I bought here on Amazon, and I have an HDTV within 5 days (maybe 4 days but I was in school the whole day was.) CEVA does not pay for my HDTV, which was suspicious, because I wanted to UPS and FedEx. However, CEVA offers excellent customer service, and I am talking about the delivery date. Packing is extremely effective, and the light is too brilliant!
For those who want to use the TV cabinet, which must be met. Very easy to drive but! See all 9 screws (already in the field) and I recommend using the cordless screwdriver. PS3 on a less expensive television, how would it look?
I'd like to buy a PS3 but I don't want to drop $800-$1000 on a new LCD HDTV. Currently I have an old 19" television that is not a HDTV, just usual older television. Could I use it on that? Would it look very bad?
I also thought of getting a cheaper 19" 720p HDTV but I wonder if that'd really be that much better? Everyone says to use 1080i but I can't afford it right now.
Any ideas what to do?

It doesn't look horrible by any means but you can def. tell the difference with HDTV. Yes it works on a regular SDTV. Don't listen to people telling you 1080i. I prefer 720p as progressive scan looks better than interlaced for fast movment like action movies or face paced games, which most are fast moving. 1080i does look better but for still frames and slow movie frames. If anything go with a 720p LCD tv. You won't regret it. 1080p is the best but you can't really tell the difference unless the screen is 42" or more.
