Freeview for LCD monitor (Hyundai W240D)?
I have recently bought a Hyundai W240D 24" monitor and I was wondering what the best solution is to get Freeview on it. It has component, HDMI, DVI and VGA connection points, of which the component is being used for my Xbox 360 and the VGA is being used for my PC. At the moment I'm not feeling particularly rich so if possible I'd like a reliable, cheap and cheerful freeview box (which, I assume, rules out HD and the possibility of getting one with a hard drive). Ideally it would connect to the HDMI or DVI port, eliminating the need to buy a component switch, but this will probably require a converter of some kind, I assume from S-Video (which the monitor doesn't have a port for) to HDMI.
You'll have to get the digital box and use a "Scart" TO "HDMI" cable and it should work. $10-20
So that is your other option.
