Whats the difference between DVI-D and DVI?
I need to get an adapter for my PS3 HDMI cable because my TV has only a DVI outlet. Will this adapter work, the HDMI cable will plug into the female HDMI and the male DVI plugs into the TV. No, that will be fine. It's a dual channel DVI plug, but it will fit into any DVI socket and will work. Dual channel is necessary for higher resolutions than 1920x1200 but of course it still works at lower resolutions.
