I'm having trouble connecting my HDTV to my computer?
I have got a HDMI to DVI lead to connect my pc to my tv, my tv can support a pc as i have done it before with a previous computer, but now i cant get a new pc working on it.
i have connected it correctly but nothing shows on any of the channels on my tv. I have tried connecting a second monitor so that i could use the pc while i'm trying to connect my tv to it, the pc knows it has a second monitor attached to it and i have told it to show a clone but still nothing appears, everything is okay with the computer so what is wrong?
On my TV i can select different sources; DVI, PC, Scart, Tuner, and some others, which one would i need, although it is a PC i have it in the DVI socket so which one would i put it on?
Any other reasons why it might not be working?

Sounds like "DVI" would be right.
If you can't get that to work, and if both the PC and the TV have VGA connectors, use that.
If the PC has no VGA connector, get a DVI to VGA cable (your PC's "DVI" connector is really "DVI-I", it has the VGA signals in it, this cable picks them out and supplies them to the regular VGA HD15 connector)
