How do i get my VGA cable to work correctly.?
the problem i am having, is when i plug the VGA cable from my computer to my TV it will display parts of the laptop screen and the rest is all white. am i doing something wrong. i have a samsung hdtv and a compaq presario CQ 60 and the cable i am using is a 6 ft dynex VGA cable. my laptop does not have a HDMI but i heard that there is an adapter. should i get that.
TVs support only a limited number of screen resolutions.
Try 1360 x 765 (or whatever resolution is your TV) and it should work just fine.
