LVM-42w2 42-inch 1080p LCD Monitor help?
I just bought this tv. It doesn’t come with built-in tuners. I cannot afford “digital” cable. What is my best option to utilize this tv without spending an arm and a leg. I saw the KWorld 1600 LCD TV Box TV Tuner ( VGA NTSC ) – KW-TV1600R as an option, however it only goes up to 1600 x 1200 while the tv goes up to1920 x 1080. Will this pose a problem?
Thank you in advance.
i suggest you visit avsforumdotcom , anyways , it doesn’t matter on the resolution of your tv. the hdtv right now is either 720p or 1080i depending on your location. you can safely watch a 1600×1200 output. you wont find anything that works at 1920×1080 except a pc.
the higher resolution wont harm your tv , it will make the picture look fuzzy , so you will have to drop down to 1280×1024 for example. over the air antennas will get you local hd channels(you will have to hook it to the hd tuner) . hd cable and dtv or dish is too expensive , scru them.
